Hello film photographers! 👋

This is the very first issue of Pulling Film, a newsletter for all film photographers. My name is Ben and I’m a photographer in Brooklyn. I loved photography in college and after an almost 10 year hiatus I’ve found my love for photography once again. This time with a twist, film 🎞️

Let’s cover some basics about this newsletter:  

❓ What is this going to be about?

Film photography of course! And everything that goes along with it. Expect discussions on film, cameras (of all formats), developing, scanning, darkroom printing, photobooks, photographers and more.

It’s where we can geek out about the film process, and learn and grow as photographers together!

• Film photographers.

• Digital photographers who are film curious.

• Really anyone who has even a sliver of interest in photography and could appreciate film.

• If you have zero interest in photography then this newsletter probably isn’t for you. Feel free to unsubscribe. 👎

Tuesday & Thursday

Why those days? Because you got 🌮 Tuesday and 🥃 Thursday. Add in film photography and you’ll have a pretty good time.
